Paint Colors
As we are planning a move during the summer, I need to get this place painted and prepped so we can put it up for rent. We need to decide on a good, neutral color that will make this place shine. The options are below, please pick your favorite and let me know your “vote” in the comments.
Off White
Tan / Light Taupe
Light Sage Green
Warm Yellow
Grey
Pinkish Tan
I need to pick this so we can get started and then work on the trim. Does ANYONE out there know how to pain trim in a home that has quite a bit of wall – to – wall?
I’d go with the tan/taupe. Not a boring white, but it will cover up more wear and tear.
since we bought a spec. home, it was already painted…so i can take no credit for the color…but we always get complements on it. it’s a very, very soft butter yellow when the sun is shining but almost a light tan when it’s dark. the trim is white. if you like, i can look up the number…i believe it’s a sherwin williams paint. we have tall celings (which equals a lot of wall), but it’s not overpowering.
typing and nursing so no capital letters. : )
I would go with the off white or an eggshell so the perspective buyer can envision their colors. Although having a place already painted in colors is nice but you never know what the buyers furnishings may be.
I say sage. I visited friends yesterday who had a light sage with off-white trim and it was nice without being overbearing.
