Learning a lesson
Posted by Kat in John, Kat, Rachel
This morning I was a bit of a bitch to John and immediately after my bitchy episode, he left the house to go and buy cream cheese. While he was gone, I made him a note and put a cup of coffee on the piece of paper and left it on the porch. It said:
“I am the coffee of I’m sorry. Drink me and accept Kate’s apology.”
Then, I made him a bagel with our remaining cream cheese and put the plate on another piece of paper on the porch and that note said:
“I am the bagel of forgiveness. Eat me and forgive Kate.”
I told Rachel what I had done to upset John and what I was doing with the notes, the coffee and the bagel. I think it is a pretty good lesson to learn that your parents can sometimes be “not so nice” to each other but that it is *really* important to show each other that you’re sorry.
(My apology was accepted and I was forgiven for my bitchyness. ) : – )
