Welcome! My name is Kat and I'm the mother of 4. Rachel is living with a universally terminal illness called Juvenile Batten Disease. Rachel, Julie, London, Boston and I are doing everything we can to suck the marrow out of life and looking to raise money for Batten Disease Research. Watch us make the most of the time we have.

   And the underlying thought I had was how much I miss you guys. I really would love to come see you soon, if at all possible. I don’t know the logistics of making a trip out your way at this point, but on my end I could throw Jack in the car and drive (after getting our passports, of course! Silly laws!)    Lisa is a good friend of mine and I love her work. But really what I came to say to you Kat is that my heart aches for you. I know I cannot possibly say the right thing. But if I’ve learned anything as my youngest daughter (also Cat) continues her battle against cancer – it just somehow helps to know that others care.
