Have you heard of Terracycle? They are a company in NJ that collects items to upcycle in to new products. They pay 2 cents per items and provide free envelopes and labels for shipping. You can have the money given to a charity. If you go through a lot of juice pouches or certain cereals, then it is worth it. You can join various brigades for collecting.
More info here http://www. terracycle.net

We do several brigades -- 2 at the elementary school, 3 at my work place and 1 at home.
