We spent the day in Storyland and decided to head home a little earlier than expected after the rain started to fall. What a magical place Storyland is. Here are some pictures:

TeamRachel aka mrskatvon is both a website to gain public awareness of Juvenile Batten Disease (which affects my oldest daughter) as well as a journal to remember the events in our lives.
Rachel was diagnosed with Batten Disease in July 2009 and while we knew something was "not right" we had no idea that such a nightmarish disease existed. There are dozens of nasty, orphan disease which affect people both very young and old.
Aside from dealing with the changes of Batten Disease in my daughter, Rachel, I have tasked myself with making life memorable for all of my children to make sure that (at least) 3 of them grow up to be as well adjusted and happy as possible.
Looks like everyone had a blast. What funa nd wonderful memories! I hope you get a break now to rest!

Your Storyland looks far better than our Storyland! Ours is pretty um… shoddy. And kind of scary.
This storyland is pretty badass. I have to say that I don’t think we “did” the second half of the park – the kids were too tired from Santa’s Village the previous day. If you come to the states, I would highly suggest going to this park (in Glen, New Hampshire). Aerik might stab himself in the eyes with rusty forks by the end of the day but Declan and Jackson would love it.
